[style]: The Kensington Experience

It's been couple of years now (I could have sworn it was less than that) that I visited London. Since looking for rentals was bit of disappointment a month ago I kept thinking back to hotel I stayed at while in London - The Kensington Hotel, just close to the tube station by the same name and centrally located to just about everything. It was remodeled a few years ago to the tune of some 20 million pounds - and it showed - it exudes style and character, but it is not stuffy, overdone or kitschy.

aubrey restaurant - fabulous mood and food

one of the suites - room furnished similarly to the one I had

suite - love bedspread which they use for all the beds

I loved my stay at The Kensington Hotel even as they gave me probably the smallest room they had at the top of the hotel overlooking rooftops of other houses - it was wonderful and I was sad to leave it.
