This was my birthday weekend where all I wanted was a bit time to myself (and a friend). Hubby packed up the kids and took them to one of the provincial parks and I hit the stores and a restaurant kid-free and, even more importantly, toddler-free.
Our first stop was Elte Outlet which is closing its doors on July 20th and hopefully reopening in new location in October. There aren't that many items left as top floor is almost empty and there were a couple of new items that I noticed - cue in these chairs in the first photo that I can just imagine in a Sarah Richardson inspired cottage.
There is even better sale on rugs at the moment with all of them receiving 50% or 30% off on top of existing sale price. Here is a few that caught my eye.
Our next stop was Ginger's with summer sale of their own. Here are couple of things that caught my eye.
I was happy to see there are black outlet covers as it would make my outlets in basement stand out against black wall much less. But then I realized that electrical portion would still remain white unless there is something I don't know..
Just across the road is Elte and we went there for a bit of inspiration.
I just love their rugs - they look like old tapestry - too good to walk on.
These photographs are so mesmerizing...
Loved this little vignette - great way to create art and display prized trays.
Next we were off to Yorkdale mall where unfortunately I found more inspiration in Starbucks pin board made up from coffee bags than I did in Anthropologie (I must say I cried a bit about that as I have great love for Anthro).
In Pottery Barn found couple of items on great sale. This green 9x12 rug was reduced from some $700 to $179. Great buy. Others in the photo are on sale as well.
Really loved this lamp. Would look great in our basement.
We finished our little decor finding trip in a restaurant enjoying uninterrupted meal...
