[style]: Another Saint Germain Apartment Rental

6.07.2014

As mentioned in earlier post, I've rented a Paris apartment in St Germain district last year around this time. While the apartment that I rented is not being offered anymore (or at least I cannot find it), there are some really nice ones with great punch of style that one can find. This one presented here is offered for about $2200/week in June which is a lot, but a great price for this area, space and having a kitchen. I quickly looked at hotels in the price range and location and could barely find one that does not entice at all.

From its description:

Apartment Dauphine is located on rue Dauphine, in the heart of Saint Germain des Près. A few minutes' walk has you strolling along the Seine, discovering all of its hidden charms. Rue Dauphine is considered one of Paris' most prestigious streets, famous for its art galleries and antique shops. And of course, there are numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants to suit any taste. This charming apartment has a large balcony that overlooks a paved courtyard, offering a quiet oasis in the middle of the bustling city.

I just love the mix of old and new.

Apartment Dauphine is approx. 700 square feet and sleeps up to four guests in one double bedroom and a double sofa bed. The bright and spacious living area features a home office nook, a collection of books, two comfortable sofas, and a dining table for four. The uncluttered decoration and the harmony of colors create an atmosphere of serenity and relaxation. High ceilings and wooden beams add to the old-world feeling of this charming apartment. The kitchen space is well-equipped and offers a fridge/freezer, 2-ring hotplate, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, blender, juicer, and toaster. Step outside on the balcony and enjoy your morning coffee or an aperitif before dinner. Up a short flight of stairs is the double bedroom, exuding harmony with its soft tones and seashore ambiance. The open-style, modern bathroom will entice with its genuine clawfoot bathtub.

  3. Beautiful post! I love the claw-foot tub and bathroom style with the incorporation of concrete. I just finished redesigning my bedroom/living room and applied more of a Scandinavian modern style, with leather furniture(from US-Mattress.com). This is truly inspiring to try for my bathroom. Thanks for sharing!
